Bout to finish the book I’m listening to rn and I have no clue what books to hit next. I listen to audiobooks on my daily commute but I’ve run out of enticing ideas on what to listen to 😔

I’m kinda mopey and I just wanna ramble a bit but it’ll be below the cut if you wanna ignore lol

It’s so annoying to me that I’ve always struggled socially and I was actually kind of connecting with people since around 2020 but then I just get the rug pulled out from under me recently and it’s just all gone. I feel like people aren’t willing to help me learn and work with me as I try and navigate how to actually socialize and then I just eventually get tossed aside. It really just feels like I’ve missed my chance to actually make meaningful connections with people near my age that share any of my interests. Every day I work then I go home and lie around and it’s all so unfulfilling tbh

Honestly I’ve never been able to hold onto any meaningful connections with anyone for more than a few years in my entire life. At this stage in my life, I don’t really see any way forward in this regard with how my life is rn. It’s on my mind a lot, and man, I do wish things were different. I do alright on my own (I do always have my family. We all get along well which is nice) but I do wish I was kind of an important person to someone ig. I miss having someone that actually liked chattering with me all the time
