So I have a headcanon that Iora wears an earring that Remi gave him, like a green to red earing to match his eyes. And the idea bothered me so much that I wrote it❤ Uh, so, Happy Early Halloween?

She was in the store with her friend Unne, casually perusing the street stores and stalls at the outside bazaar. She had a lot of time on her hands, and she knew Iora’s birthday was a few months. Her conundrum, however, was she had no idea what to get him.

“Just get him Ribbons, sweetie. He loves ribbons!” Unne gestured to a crafts stall

“How many people do you think probably know that, and resort to that. I want it to be unique! Something meaningful!” Remi huffed, walking past the stall no even sparing it a glance.

“Well, I don’t suggest brick-a-brack items. I don’t think I’ve personally seen him sleep and even if he does, how often does he spare the items in his room a glance?” Remi sighed, looking at some more items. She had a point. She’s seen him sleep- she’s slept with him in both manners of speaking. “Why not get him something he can wear, princess?”

“.. like jewelry?”

“Yeah. I was pretty sure he used to wear a choker and other types of jewelry. Or how about a fancy hair tie? He always has his hair in a braid.”

Remi thought about it.. her eyes catching a round pair of earrings on display. It matched his eyes. Unne saw her pause before giving an amused look.

“Remi, I don’t think Iora’s ears are pierced.”

“I know how to pierce ears.”

“Even so, I doubt he’d be for it.”

Remi looked at Unne with a small pout causing Unne to laugh. “It’s your gift, so.. if you think he’ll like it, it’s up to.”

“Even if he doesn’t like it, I do. I’ll just wear them instead.”

“Why don’t you both wear one of the pair. Let people know you’re actually together~❤”

Remi liked that idea a lot and went ahead and bought the earrings. “Don’t tell Iora!”

“Haha I won’t, I won’t. I’m the spirit of love, not spoilers.”
