‘Halseyyyyy’ you whine, ‘you know I hate blind dates’
‘I know, y/n, but I think this will be good for you! Besides, Michael is totally you’re type, you two are going to love each other, Im soo excited’ she squeaks as you roll your eyes. ‘Oh, and did I mention he’s in a band?’ she says a stupid grin spread across her face.
You’re best friend Halsey had set you up on a blind date, with some guy who was in Ashton’s band. You had heard some really funny stories about this guy, but you hadn’t been on a date in forever and you were so nervous. What if he didn’t like you? What if you say something wrong? All these worries are flosting around your head and before you know it, it was time to go.
You’re hands are sweating as you enter the restaurant you were meant to meet him at. You had been told he likes to dye his hair mad colours and so he was easy to spot. He was sitting in the corner of the restaurant, looking just as nervous as you were, He was actually really good looking, which made you even more nervous, you weren’t good when confronted with hot people.
As you walk over he spots you and stands up as you approach the table. That was sweet, you think as he greets you with a wide grin. ‘Hey, I’m Michael’ he says, extending a hand to you. You return his smile and tell him you’re name.
‘You know, I have to admit, I am so nervous about this, I don’t usually do this, but Halsey has told me so much about you’ he tells you as you take a seat opposite him. ‘You’re surprisingly very attractive’ he says before realising how that sentence sounded. His eyes go wide and immediately gets all flustered. ‘Uhhh, sorry I didn’t mean it like that… uhhh, i mean you’re really hot.. uhh pretty, damn, I’m so nervous’ he giggles looking down.
You laugh at his frustration and tell him not to worry and try to put him at ease. This guy is really cute, you talk with him the whole night, with no awkward silences at all! This was not what you were expecting. You made a mental note to thank Halsey immensely for setting you up with this guy. Michael pays for the meal and before you know it, the night is over. You exchange numbers and he tells you he’s had a great time. He invites you to come and see his band sometime before kissing your cheek and saying goodnight
