N here. I went to check more news about KK, and I love the comments. Guess I wasn't the only one thinking he is whitewashing himself. Many people said that the choice of the interviewer is telling. The scandal is pretty big, so plenty of major news outlets/journalists would have paid a fortune to have his side of the story in public. Turns out, he chose a not-so-famous journalist, who happened to share the same cultural background as KK. Nothing odd, except someone pointed out KK is also a guest speaker at the society club of a famous university. Fun part: that society group is not the official society group of that university, but rather a subgroup formed by a few students. I let you take a wild guess what is so particular about the member of that sub-group of the society club that made KK their guest speaker.
