Mornings

For many what they fear the most every day. For some, mornings are the worst time of the day, it's at the time you open your eyes up, either because of a voice or an alarm clock and maybe the glow from the first light of the day, telling you that its the morning yet again, and your body slowly swells up with horror. The idea of ​​getting up and getting ready, the idea of ​​going out of the door can lead directly to anxiety attacks or just a flood of tears. All the body and brain wants to do is continue hiding in the guarding bed where the duvet shields you from the rest of the world and maintains one in its warmth. When you involuntarily drag your heavy body out of the bed's embrace and put your feet on the floor, with trembling legs and shaking hands to raise yourself up, the body asks you 'are you sure?' And no you are definitely not sure, actually, you have never been so unsure of something as you are at that moment about getting out of bed. Just the idea that you're going out and mixing yourself with other people, making conversations and pretending to be happy, is making your now dry eyes wet again and your body collapses.

And there you lie alone, fragile on the floor, and pray, just pray that it's all a dream that you don't have a job you don't like, that it's not tomorrow anymore. But there's nothing you can do, you put on your mask and force yourself out of the door for a job you've been forced to apply for because the system is nothing but against you and nobody, absolutely nobody understands how fragile and burned out you are. You are alone, in a busy world where there is no time or understanding of mental illnesses.
