In the original script for The Transformers: The Movie, to show that time had moved on and things were a little bit different than audiences were used to seeing in the cartoon, Bumblebee was described as having slightly changed his appearance by adding some “bumper stickers” that read “I ♥ Cybertron” and “I ♣ Decepticons.” This idea was dropped from the finished film, but…

…it did make it into the Marvel Comics adaptation! However, in what was probably the result of the comic’s inkers Ian Akin and Brian Garvey misinterpreting what penciller Don Perlin had drawn, “ I ♣ Deceps” became “180 Deceps,” and unfortunately…

…that’s what the sticker said when they were both included Masterpiece G2 Bumblebee last year!

Divide and Conquer

In episode 6 of The Transformers, Spike continues to utterly fail at everything, Optimus is hurt in a confusing chain of events, another wall is torn down, baffling lines are uttered and Chip Chase does all the work.

The next episode will not only introduce us to what has to be the worst pun in cartoon history, but also to more questionable morals and, in a shocking twist, an actual moment of character development. Will Starscream finally be happy for once? How does one become an Autobot? And will the Decepticons finally find a door they can walk through without destroying it?

All these answers and much much less will be revealed next time.
