Closing the gap in our long distance relationship

Can’t believe in 5 days I will have my K-1 Fiancé visa interview! If all goes well I will finally be in my finance’s  arms in less than 20 days. I feel like I have waited my whole life for this moment and I am so nervous and excited. 

Being in a long distance relationship for 3 years is hard but we went through it! And through marriage we are finally closing the distance between us. 

*cries happy tears*

Yes we started our relationship online but that doesn’t mean it won’t work out. My fiancé and I had our ups and downs but we both worked so hard in our relationship to make things work. 

I’m praying so hard that my interview will go smoothly, I miss my fiance so much, I haven’t seen him for 8 months or more :(

Day 172

This could be it. Waiting “might” soon be over. Getting so restless about my approval, it’s honestly driving me crazy. I’m so done with the long distance and I can’t wait to be reunited with my fiancé. We both have been very patient with our relationship and now it’s progressing to be something amazing as we can live together as a married couple. We are breaking the distance through marriage, how beautiful is that. Long distance relationships do work if you both are patient and work hard towards a beautiful relationship. 

In a few months will be our 3rd anniversary which also means we have been in a long distance relationship for 3 long years. Surely has been a rollercoaster but every moment with him felt like home, finally a home where I can be my full authentic self. 

Long distance relationships require soooooooo much patience, please never forget that. The k1 visa ironically also requires too much patience haha as the process became way too slow this year. Think of it as a test for your relationship since you will be soon living your lives together.

P.S. I will surely post an update once we are approved and ready to file a K1 visa!

Day 142

Day 142 of waiting for my fiancé visa. Approximate time of approval is now up to 228 days the soonest being 170 days. THAT’S ALMOST A YEAR IMO. Add up another month for documents to be processed for me to get a hold of my visa.

Tomorrow is my fiancé’s birthday. Because of the guilt not being with him I tried my best to spoil him despite being slightly broke. I have already mentally packed my stuff and my suitcases are already out on display ready to use. I’m slowly going crazy just waiting. I already want to pack my bags and leave. I feel like I have waited enough
