In 1975 Winnebago partnered with a helicopter firm to offer the Heli-home, a flying RV that cost about $1.4M in today's money. They only found 8 customers. The magazine cover shows the optional float upgrade for landing in those mountain lakes where the trout have never seen a man. Came with an 8-track sound system!
