Tenuous was certainly one way to put it. Hanging by a quickly-fraying thread was another. Greyback was well aware of the TENSIONS broiling between wizardkind and the rest of the magical world—it had all but been beaten into him! To see them nervous over the potential for that hierarchy to shift... oh, there was NOTHING like it in the world.

"What do I care if your lot slaughter each other? That just makes it easier for me to take the upper hand." He took another gulp from his goblet, a WOLFISH glint in his eye. "Always liked the idea of drinks and a show, haven't you?"

"What do you care?" Andromeda asks, though once she has, she wished she didn't. What a foolish question, she thinks. Greyback would benefit, by allegiance or by counting corpses. It wouldn't matter to him. But when he inquires about her likes, she pauses. Purses her lips. "And what do you mean by that?"

"You have to be bold, in my position. Would you prefer they check for beast or being at the door?" An UNPLEASANT smile crawled onto his face, conveying all the charm—all the friendliness—of a mangy raccoon. "I had nothing to do with that panic." That particular one, at any rate... "What do I have to fear?"

Andromeda was all too familiar with men like him. But he was different. He was a different sort of person, a different sort of beast altogether. And sure, while Andromeda did her best to be open-minded, Fenrir Greyback was a different story.

His boldness was a danger to them all. And for someone like him... it could be all the worse.

Andromeda scowls at him. "You might have nothing to do with the panic, but your efforts over the past years in relationship to The Wizarding World as a whole... aren't you concerned that it's changed? There's so much uncertainty right now, and you? Already with a tenuous relationship with the rest of the Wizarding Society."

"I'll say this," Andromeda begins, knowing she should be afraid but couldn't bring herself to be. Yet. "Your boldness still astounds me. After all of the panic in the past month, you have no fear being out and about. How is that?"

Andromeda's face lights up. A young woman? Interested in rare potion ingredients? And for healing, nonetheless? Well, it could go in many other things. Andromeda wasn't the best potioneer, but the use in medicinal studies -- like the ones she used around her necromancy -- was not to be overlooked.

"That's a rare one," Andromeda says, warmly. "Any special plans?"
