Mondays were the absolute worst. Even though Ivris didn’t have a job in the city yet, the general attitude in the air made Ivris always feel depressed on Mondays. There were always sunken faces of people who had to go to work, school, or just the week’s stressful endeavors.
Sitting on a park bench, sipping at her coffee as she watched others go by, something caught her attention out of the corner of her eye. It was a young girl, couldn’t have been older than her mid teens, helping out a young child. Noble actions, especially these small ones, were a rarity in the city, and Ivris couldn’t help but smile.
As the girl started to go by, Ivris spoke softly, yet loud enough for the girl to hear. “That was quite a sweet thing you did. I admire people like you.”

Ochako had been wandering through the city, trying to learn her way around when she saw a young child sitting on the grass, clearly upset. Seeing that the child was having a hard time tying their shoelaces, Ochako offered to help.
“Something this tough can be solved with a little bit of magic! Want me to show you?” Ochako waited for the child to agree before she touched the string with all five fingers.
Having done so, the shoelace began to float around the small child. Ochako played with it, twirling it around the child, making it dance in the air. Once the kid was no longer upset, she grabbed the shoelace and released her quirk, then put the shoelace back in and tied it.
Walking back, Ochako heard a soft voice, she turned to see an older girl with silver hair. Her words had surprised her, she hadn’t done anything extraordinary.
“Oh, thank you! But it was nothing really, I’m sure anyone else would have done the same!”
