The cats are good company, albeit their meowing and want for attention, but that’s something Tetsuya does not mind giving, it is almost as if there is a silent mutual understanding between each other that he has come to appreciate. His legs hang loosely over the edge of the roof, eyes upon the sky. He finds himself reminiscing about the days where he was so blissfully oblivious of their deception, and how it was at Pierro’s whim that Scaramouche found out the truth about them. How, if only for a moment, he obsessed over finding out the truth, because lies isn’t something he likes in general, less when they are told to him. But… he’s glad that he knows the truth now, he much prefers ugly truths than pretty lies.

His attention turns back towards Mona, he turns his head to look at her with a raised eyebrow. “Hah!” He has to laugh a bit. “If your criteria of being good company is based on the fact that I can tolerate you then I implore you to reconsider that criteria of yours.” He continues to pick on her if only for fun at this point. Truth is she really is not bad company. Her ego aside and her pride, in that they are two red apples, but… she is fair company he can give her that much. “I’m curious,” he suddenly begins, looking up at the stars again, “why are those celestial bodies up above such a big deal to you?”

green hues lock on to the dark skies, shifting from the moon and connecting to various stars. fixing her position to sit upward, mona removes her hat to fix star pendants clipped at the end. she had no reason to slander the story of how her story came to be, and how it's fairing out. to say she has not dabbled in his own destiny, would be a lie within itself; and with this knowledge, mona feels completely comfortable in telling the truth; even if it could be easily interpreted as pathetic in his eyes.

yearning.

it’s embarrassing to admit her state of crisis;   having barely enough more to pay for the rent in mondstat.  anyone who knew of the mage had accused her of being a parasite when it came to outings             relying her her closest friend to pay for meals.  it broke her heart, honestly.
