Assignment 2- Action and Acting

Acting Exercise - Lighting and Render

A2- Exercise 3: Final version of “grandma's house animatic” (Acting exercise)

- This is a final version with lighting, sound and nice environment for the assessment 2: acting exercise.

- This animated video was created in Maya 2016 software using four cameras. This video is render from Maya 2016 as png image first and then do the final rendering in Adobe After Effects CC 2015.

- This is my first time make 3D animation work on  Lip sync,  I think this video is still not good enough, but this is now one of the best.

Heavy Weight Lifting - Lighting and Render

- According to the assessment 2 brief exercise 6, we need lighting and rendering all exercises. This is a side view of exercise 2. After render finished, I saw this video, I think the light is not good enough. In the future I will try to do more lighting test.

- They are all polished animation videos.

- Side view of “grandma’s house animatic” (acting exercise).

- View on a little girl of “grandma’s house animatic” (acting exercise).

- View on grandmother of “grandma’s house animatic” (acting exercise).

- This is Revise and Polish version of “grandma’s house animatic” (acting exercise). Also used to render a final version after apply the lighting rig.

- Compared to the rough version of the improvement include:

* The motion of little girl’s fingers.

* The motion of grandmother’s hand.

* The motion of grandmother’s feet.

- This is Revise and Polish versions of Heavy Weight Lifting exercise. Also used to render a final version after apply the lighting rig.

- Compared to the rough version of the improvement include:

* Fixed the issue on the “Graphic edit” ( make the character's walking more believable).

* Fixed the” location” issue on both hands and add “location” on the left hand at the end of the animation film.

* Keep two cubes are in the same location when they are on the floor(no movement)

Reflection problem solve

Most people have this rendering issues. Tutor shows image about how to solve this problem.

However,  for my Maya 2016 still can not add miss_fast_skin. So, I spend a whole night (from 20:00 to 8:00), find a way to fix this problem, if this problem is not  resolved, I cannot sleep( LAST I DID).

I really want to show how to solve this problem. ( I really enjoy the process, to find a way to solve the problem.

- My acting exercise lip sync is based on this image.

- Some parts are base on my lip sync ( read my lips in the mirror).

-Because I am not native English speaker so maybe I missed some parts.

- This is the process of exercise 3, has not been completed polishing body movement( animation on linear and stepped).

- Changed hairstyle for the little girl.

- Change the colour of the two characters clothes.

- Add little girl’s left hand motion.
