As A guy who collects a lot of mecha figures, I like having that nendoroid tessa to display alongside them because she has that commander role (and she's cute) but it seems such a waste to have almost nothing of chidori. Even sousuke is pretty barren on that front, he has so many good expressions I'd love to see on a little figure. I don't think we have much chance unless another anime happens though
Yeah, it makes sense to have her as a commander. The weird thing is, when IV and the VMC radio drama came out, they released TWO new MAID figures of Tessa. Like, at least one of them coulda been her in uniform, yeah? But two MAID OUTFIT Tessas??? Yeah, she wears it in VMC, so ONE makes sense, but... but... TWO!? ;;o;;
The only "good" Kaname statue I know of off the top of my head is the one where she's posed on her knees and her skirt is unzipped and sideways. And there's no NICE Sousuke figs, just the cheap one that came with the original DVD releases of the first season in Japan, some blindbox ones, and a cheap Fumoffu stand figure. Kaname (and Tessa) has similar figures as those as well.
It's a shame that the main characters have so little, and at least Sousuke should have more to go with all the Arbalest and Laevatein models ;o;
My complaints aside, thank you for chiming in!! It does help to give perspective!! <3 I do see the appeal of having her as a commander, and she IS adorable, and it's sometimes hard for me to remember that amidst my saltiness
