Cheapest bluetooth speaker S10 cost analysis
subject to cheap bluetooth speaker, S10 is very famous. In 2013, it was said it selled at 10 milllion pieces from shenzhen.and follow this model. there are s11,s18 bluetooth speaker come.
Now we check the cost of S10 bluetooth speaker here.
It contains of shell kits, speaker driver, battery, pcba, cable and box.
s10 shell kits have 3 kinds of different one. it is same for picture part 1,3,4. but there are aluminium, iron, and plastic for part 2. it cost RMB2.8 for s10 shell kits with plastic part 2. if with alumnium part 2, the price will be rmb3.2.
For the speaker driver, it cost rmb1.4-1.8 mostly. surely we can find higher cost speaker driver in shenzhen, but mostly supplier will use the speaker driver in the range.
for battery, it cost rmb2.3 at least if with new battery. some factory will use battery cost at rmb1.9. and some factory use battery rmb1.2. it only work to power the speaker. perhaps it can supply the speaker playback 8 minutes if you are lucky.
about PCBA,in fact this part is no need to worry too much. some cost at rmb5.8 if with the charge management ic 4054 and it is single layer pcb. if better one, it cost rmb6.2-6.5. it is not so reliable with single layer pcb. perhaps it will become better as time go on.
this is s10 standard color box. it cost rmb0.2 and sell in stock. if you want to make a design for your brand. we think it will cost more than rmb0.35.
s10 cable is with 3 head. it is 2 in 1 cable, charge and audio in building in 1 head. it is cost rmb0.5 in iron coil. if with copper coil, it is rmb0.65 or more.
and labor cost for assemble and test, it is rmb1.5 in shenzhen. it is known by all the factroy. very common idea. anyway, the quantity should be more 10,000pcs, otherwise labor cost will be higher more.
so total the cheapest cost is :
other parts (carton,inside cable, screws) :0.1
total:rmb13.5 . it is about usd2 if we take the rate at 6.8 rmb/usd
this cost do not included fatory profits. and it is very bad quality and even the factory can not promise a QC before shipment.
if the factory do the better one, it will cost
total :rmb15.45 . it is about usd2.3. any way,the factory donot take any profit from this cost.
that is the bottom cost for reliable S10 cost.
