Sunday evening inspiration - today I witnessed the filthiest beach I've ever come across in all my travels, and where else but in Williamstown, #Victoria, #Australia. Twelve of us spent an hour and, despite the pile, hardly made a dint. And yet the group will go back week after week until it's fixed. But fuck cleaning up everyone's problems all our lives - if you litter, you're part of the problem and are fucking up this world. I don't want to see this mess any where in the world, least of all my own backyard.. Likewise, if you see something on the beach, it only takes a second to pick it up, and hey, you're helping :) Thanks in advance! This is an Eltham Copper Butterfly. Stunning dude! It's life cycle is incredible, and amazingly intertwined with that of one specific type of ant and one type of tree - without these two, it cannot exist! Found only in a handful of places, one being my backyard, it's one of the rarest animals Melbournians' could probably encounter! #conservation #nature #melbourne #victoria
