Took these shots tonight using only my iPhone's camera looking through our 5 foot long and 1 foot in diameter MEADE Starfinder telescope! Stoked that they came out so well! (The first one is rotated by me to fit how the moon actually was in the sky, didn't rotate the rest of them.)

Here is a handful of photos from my recent trip to San Pedro, Belize.

Some good times were had and some memories were made.

Into the jungle...

The painting shown (bottom) was created by Kurt Cruz (top) in San Pedro, Belize.

I purchased this painting created by this rad guy we met while down here in San Pedro, Belize to show and give support to another fellow artist. He shared part of his story with us and come to find out he unfortunately was stabbed in the back due to a fight he was involved in between some of his friends and another group of individuals leaving him with a pretty gnarly spinal chord injury. It messed up his ability to use his hands properly yet he still paints and creates and doesn't let it get in his way.

I usually have a good sense of someone's character, whether they're genuine and whether they're someone I can respect or not within the first 10 minutes of meeting them and getting to know a little about them. This guy definitely has my respect.

This is a photo my friend took of me holding some sparklers on the 4th of July this year (2013).

We also used my Nikon FG (35mm) and experimented with the light/glow emitting from the sparklers and the shutter speed on the camera, so when I get those developed I will be sure to post them here on the site.
