Rapunzel arrives in the lounge, her hair tied back in a braid, donning a purple dress, and a box of art supplies. She places the supplies down, then runs out of the room, returning seconds later with a canvas and an easel. She sets up her supplies and spots her muse, the princess sitting on the couch.

She gets to work, scribbling furiously across the blank canvas, absentmindedly humming as she works.

♡ Belle is sitting on the couch, a steaming cup of tea rests on the coffee table in front of her, and a book in hand. She peeks up briefly when Rapunzel arrives and then buries her nose back in her book.

♡ She frowns when she hears the other girl humming and then lowers the book.

"Rapunzel...? I don't mind you painting me, but I do mind you humming when I'm trying to read. Could you tone it down a little, please?"

"I didn't realize I was that loud, sorry." She replied sheepishly, continuing her portrait of the princess.

It was nearly an hour later when she finished, being trapped in a tower left plenty of time for perfecting skills, and her painting was a masterclass in demonstrating that. She had captured every ounce of Belle's beauty and still managed to improve upon her previous portraits of the monarch.

Her voice cuts through the silence as she lowers her paintbrush into the jar of colorful water. "I know you're thirty chapters into your book, but do you want to see the painting?"

♡ Belle smiles and lowers her book facedown on the couch.

"I would love to see it."

♡ She gets up and moves behind Rapunzel, peering at the portrait over her shoulder.

"Hm... You did a very good job. Even got my hair right. Nicely done, Rapunzel."

♡ She moves away and goes to grab her tea, frowning when she realizes it's ice cold.

"I need a new cup of tea, would you like one as well?"
