The note you left on the back of the brown paper wrapping made me think it might just be Amy Poehler’s new book and when I opened it and saw her face beaming on the front cover, I smiled. How do you know me so well even when we’re so far apart? And even though I feel like I know you pretty well too, I was still in awe when I opened the first page and found three pressed flowers like nothing had ever changed.

Don’t date a girl just because everyone else in the room can’t take their eyes off her, or that black dress hugs her curves perfectly. Date a girl who you think about while waiting for the subway. Who makes you want your words to sound like some pretentious asshole who sits at Starbucks all day with a laptop wrote them. Date a girl who makes you think of stargazing in the summer and hot drinks in the winter. Don’t date a girl you can see the rest of your life with, date a girl who makes certain moments of your life unforgettable. Don’t date a girl who if after two weeks she “won’t give it up” to you. Don’t date a girl who if after 6 months won’t give it up. Date a girl who you will wait till the ends of the earth till she’s ready, a girl who you will gladly light the candles for. Date a girl who you will do anything to get that smile that melts your heart. Don’t date a girl who you’re dependent on. Date a girl who makes you more dependent on yourself to be better.

recently i visited my Girlfriend in San Diego and well i was suposed to be vloging but , i made this, because reasons.

We partied, we adventured, we nomed, and it was great.

Last night was 15 months and a day, last night we got to be together after what felt like very very long, and i felt on top of the world.

Three Nights

Three nights I slept there by her side. She lives there and for three nights I was only visiting. Three nights we slept there together tangled in each others limbs. Three nights may not seem like much, but for three nights we called it home. For three nights, it was a place to ourselves. In three nights I physically felt myself fall more in love with her. Even if for less than three nights, I’d like to be home again.
