( cis man, leo woodall, he/him ) look who goes there! It’s asher cohen. wait, you don’t know who he/him is? the 29 old emt at station 5 has been in town for, like, 6 months. i believe they live in springdale, but i usually see them around book voyage. they can be a bit self doubting, but i think being quick-witted kinda balances them out, you know?

Traveling the world was something that Asher and his siblings were used to. Both of his parents were enlisted in the military and they were constantly going different places. He tried to help out the best he could, but his older sibling did a lot of the work. 

When he was fifteen, Asher’s parents had decided to retire from the military and they settled in Miami, Florida where they could enjoy the sun. While there, Asher learned how to surf but he was still busy, now taking care of his younger siblings. 

He decided to follow in his parents footsteps, but didn’t want to enlist in the military so he decided to become an EMT after high school. He felt like there was too much pressure to have some sort of college degree since he didn’t do the best in school. He was much better at thinking on his feet. 

Asher was doing phenomenally well with this and he had caught the eyes of many different cities that wanted him, but the one that caught his eyes was Maple Brook. He heard that they were interested in him and he had a sibling that lived there so he decided to take the leap and move. 

He’s been here for six months now and he’s gotten himself into some trouble while completing his job and he’s trying to build a connection with his family because sometimes they treated him like the golden child and he didn’t have control over that but feels like he paid the consequences of it.

It’s brandon jones. wait, you don’t know who he/him is? the 40 old headchef at ember ridge has been in town for, like, twenty eight years. i believe they live in davenport, but i usually see them around aurora’s fair. they can be a bit controllingt, but i think being creative kinda balances them out, you know?

Brandon was born and raised in New York City. When he was twelve, his parents split because his mom wanted nothing to do with Brandon, his father, or his younger sister. 

Brandon was liked in school a lot since he was athletic and he played on the football team. His father wanted him to pursue football, but it wasn’t what was in his heart. He loved to cook and knew that he could really build a future of it. 

While in college, Brandon excelled and proved why he was the best of the best. He knew that he was going to have a successful career in the culinary world. It wasn’t cocky, but it was confidence actually. 

Being invited to travel the world was nice and he did go to Italy for a little bit to explore what they could teach him there and he did that for six months before he came back. He took everything he learned and incorporated it into his every day life. 

When he was offered a job at Roux Bistro as the sous chef, he took it up. He’s been working there for the last ten years and has now been promoted to the head chef, but something is missing. He feels like he needs someone. Well probably a specific someone who he’d like to have back in his life.
