shall we start to the first step. the first step is to become the authority of your own life. to achieve it? i feel you need to stop letting other people’s behavior dictate your emotional state. the most fitting example here is that you need to decide who has access to you. it's like “i am not here to be liked but i'm here to be respected.” and once you shift into that, negative people lose power immediately. your energy is your space and so, you protect it because it was your peace. it's your home and not everyone deserves to enter it. it can be you need to choose who you spend time with or something limit your exposure from draining environments or may be surrounding yourself with people who feel safe and supportive. it's like a question of would you invite a harmful individual into your house? of course you won't so don't invite that into your energy either.

the next step is being told to process your emotions maturely. maybe you're too considerate or an emphatic person but sometimes you don't need to surpass or let these emotions control you. sometimes, it's okay to move differently so you can grow. your ancestors told me that maybe focus on your life too would help in order for you to avoid negative people because the more you are with your own life the less these people matter.

also, it seems to attract similar types of people or situations. although not because you deserve it but because it’s familiar. so probably you may be stuck on the same pattern. like a pattern when the same type of situation keeps happening even with different people. it's like the feeling is always the same. for example, a different person or a new friend but the energy is draining and one sided only. it's like in the end, it's lead a disappointment feeling in you. that's not a coincidence, that's probably a pattern. a very toxic one no one did not deserve to be stuck on. also, stop shrinking yourself. not to call you out but... you might have a habit of staying quiet to keep your so-called peace but healing requires standing for the truth even if your voice shakes. besides, you don’t have to be confident first.

i’m not trying to stir anything up or start drama. i just need to vent for a second. back in 2023, i got scammed by a tarot reader who was VERY reputable. like, genuinely trusted. i had already booked with them before and everything went smoothly, so i didn’t hesitate when i paid £89 for another reading. that’s not a small amount of money, especially for something spiritual and personal. then they just… disappeared. no explanation or reading and just completely ghosted me. i did eventually get my money back, thankfully. but even with that, i can’t seem to shake the feeling of how awful that experience was. it wasn’t just about the money—it was the trust, the anticipation, the vulnerability, and then suddenly being left in silence.

at the time, i was furious. i felt stupid for trusting them. now, part of me wonders if something genuinely bad might have happened to them, and that’s why they vanished. i don’t even know. i just know the whole situation left a mark on me.
