Found this fabulous electronic Boogie Board at Sam’s Club! I got tired of using Post it notes for Jaxs class schedule and to-do stuff for the boys. This is perfect and you just tap the pen on the triangle to erase it. We don’t have a magnetic fridge so I used Alien Tape (thanks dad!) to stick it up. I made a handy video for you. I am digging my new plant. Don thinks it takes up too much space and shakes his head every time I have to move it to put out the table or bed. But I don’t care. (I think he secretly likes it). At least it’s sturdier than the previous tree. We were constantly tripping over that because it was so light, all we had to do was breathe in its direction and it would topple over. Our Avion doesn’t have slides and no shelf on my side. Our new sofabed has flat arms so hubby got me this handy wooden arm cover to set my coffee on. I can recline on the bed and start my day. Let’s talk bedding! When you have kids, a small RV space and a bathroom door to contend with, bedding has its issues. Blankets would end up on the floor, beds would be messily made because it is hard to get back into those corners and crevices. And every time we tried to close the bathroom door, our kids blankets would get caught in it. I had been fascinated by zip up bedding by Beddy’s but the price tag kept me away. I found a pattern to make my own on Etsy and while I knew I could do it, time and space was a big factor. Finally, some of the bedding went on sale at Beddy’s and I decided it was worth the extra money since it would save me a ton of time. I really liked their lighter off-white color but you know, rough boys, dog… Big nope. The boys love their new beds! The minky blanket is soft and cozy and you can unzip both sides so you’re not trapped in. Last stop, Caballo Lake state park in New Mexico. This is a beautiful park on Caballo Lake and the Rio Grande. There’s several campsites with hookups and we rolled in and scored a site along the Rio for only $18 a night! Took a little detour in Albuquerque to see some of the places filmed in Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul. Had lunch at Loyola’s Diner and our waitress was an extra in the series. She said they could not have any noise while filming so even the ac had to be turned off in the middle of July. It took 55 takes for a scene and everyone was sweltering! We also saw the car wash where the characters hid their drug money, Walter Whites house used in the show, and the first place for Jimmy Goodman’s lawyer practice in Better Call Saul. https://www.instagram.com/p/CR93E4wBXod/?utm_medium=tumblr
