“Well you’ll get to have plenty of chances to prank others here! It gets pretty boring at times so a little mischief isn’t unwelcome! Heehee!”

-Marx bounces in place before looking out at the fields. The wind was still pretty strong. Flying was going to be difficult but it didn’t take an expert to fly through it now. Hopping up the jester hovers in the air as his wings appear. Grinning at Gryll, Marx wiggles his feet.-

“Good luck with your greetings Gryll! I’m looking forward to have a fellow prankster around!”

Gryll looked at the jester and his wings. They forgot how pretty the color looked on these. It must be nice to have wings like him. “Thank you Marx, I will do my best!”

They took their broom and sat on it. As soon they touched the broom’s handle, it started to hover above the ground. “It was nice to see you! Bye!” They flew away, trying to not get carried away by the wind. It would be a shame to end up in a tree again.

“Yeah! It was pretty funny! We covered him in paint and got a picture of it! He was pretty mad but I convinced him that there wasn’t any point in killing us! Hehehe! Also Dark Meta Knight is a mirror worlder, so he’ll look like Meta Knight but with more scrapes and tears. Meta Knight is pretty formal and mostly standard knight like, code of honor and other stuff. It’ll be pretty easy to tell them apart when you put them side by side. If you see one of them then you probably should ask them a question so you can figure out which one you’ve run into!”

-Marx giggles but he didn’t want Gryll to think the knights were one in the same. That’s been done already! Plus he was pretty sure DMK didn’t like being compared to MK at all.-

“Okay I’ll try that!” At least, now they have something to know which knight is who. Like that, they will be able to avoid fighting.

“That looked like a really good prank, indeed. It’s been so long since I didn’t prank someone, you know. I’ve been busy with my star stacking game and with space exploration. It was great but I didn’t meet a lot of people I could prank.” They weren’t as strong as Marx at pranks and they weren’t doing a lot of these. But pranking some people from time to time amused them if they were honest.

“The only person that may attack you is Dark Meta Knight. He’s pretty much an edgy knight that doesn’t really know how to have a conversation without first trying to stab you in the face. At least that’s what I’ve seen so far. I kinda befriended him, but already burned that bridge up when me and Mags pranked him! Hehehe! But other than that everyone else is fine to talk to!” -Marx smiles, snickering to himself when he thought about the prank.-

“Well, I don’t know who this Dark Meta Knight is, but I’ll be careful. I’m not really the fighter type, so I don’t think I will be able to defend myself.” Gryll chuckled to hide their apprehension. Whoever this knight is, they would rather not meet him. They silently scolded themself for not training. They thought that Popstar was an happy place, with nice people.

“It must have been a good prank, you look like you had a lot of fun!” They quickly understood that ‘Mags’ was probably Magolor, which made them more curious about him. If this person built a friendship with Marx, they must be something.

“I befriended some of them sure, but only Kirby is friends with all of them! I only know them because of the pink puffball! Well except Magolor, I met him when I was drifting out in space. But yeah! If you want to get to know more people I’d go say hi to Kirby! They’ll show you even more colorful people that I didn’t list! Hehehe!”

“Guess I’ll do that, then. I’m ready to befriend a lot of people! And we could have a great time all together! I’m okay with everyone, as long they doesn’t try to kill me, haha.” Gryll laughed a bit, before looking at the jester with a suddenly serious look. “They won’t, right?” They remembered that a lot of people tried to invade Popstar before, they don’t know who exactly, but maybe the people they haven’t met would take them for an invader...

“Well let’s see…there’s Kirby and his friends. Bandana Dee will most likely try for fun. Meta Knight might join out of curiosity. King Dedede will join if there’s a prize and if he does then other Dees will other be there. Dunno about Gooey.

You might get some Mirror World people since I’ve been seeing more of them around lately. Shadow Kirby isn’t as friendly as regular Kirby though. Dark Meta Knight most likely wouldn’t join either. Well, not unless he was tricked into playing.

Then there’s the Florian’s in the sky, one of them is Taranza. He’s the leader since the previous one got corrupted. Susie might take an interest though I don’t think she’d play, I know Magolor would take the opportunity to sell stuff. He might join, he likes games! As for the rest they’ll probably come to watch.”

“Wow, you do know a lot of people on Popstar...” A lot of things happened since they went here last time. They know that there’s a lot of people that the jester didn’t talk about, but it was impressive to see that the jester know so many people. He even knows people from the Mirror World. “All of them seems really interesting! Maybe I’ll go see some of them one day, we could get along.” They paused a bit. “Are they all your friends?” Marx was a prankster, he probably pranked some of them. It made sense in Gryll‘s head.

“Pfff, they’re strong at pretty much anything! Like some kind of messiah or something. So I’m not that surprised. Seriously that kid is probably living victory walking around and stuffing their face! But I’m sure they’d love to play the game with you. Actually I’d like to try it out too!

Hey hey hey, maybe you could host a tourney! This place has gotten a bit boring lately and it’s gotten some more people that visit it, so it’d probably get a lot of players!”

“A tourney?” Gryll put a hand on their chin and thought about it. A tourney could be a good idea to show their skills. And since they didn’t know a lot of people, this could be an occasion to meet people who like games, like them!

“That’s a good idea! It may take time to set everything up, but I’m sure it’s possible. This could be really fun! Do you know any potential players? I don’t know much people around here since I spend most of my time in space.”

-Marx calms down and walks over to Gryll.-

“Of course! It’s pretty much my job to do that! Not that it’s a problem at least not most of the time. Hehehe! You still playing that stacking game?”

Gryll smiled at the mention of their stacking game. “Well, yes! I trained a lot, and I think that I’m now strong enough to beat Kirby!” They still can’t believe that they were beaten by a child at their own game, but rules are rules. “Believe it or not, this child is pretty strong at this!”

-Marx was sitting under a tree to shield himself from the wind. These were not great flying conditions. He should know he’s tried to fly a few times in this type of weather before and it usually ended with him crashing into something. Just like the witch that crashed right into one of the neighboring trees. Marx watches as they fell into to ground. A loud cackle is let out and his feet wiggle as he laughs.

Yes the jester watched the crash.-

“Nice landing Gryll! A perfect 10! HEHEHE!”

Oh, thank Nova it was only Marx. It would be a way more embarrassing if it was someone they didn’t know. They laughed a bit with him, still a bit awkward but a way less than before. No reasons to be embarrassed in front of a friend.

“Thank you.” They giggled a bit before continuing. “I guess defying the wind isn’t something for me, right?” They straighten their hat and tried to take off the leaves from their hairs and from their broom. “Anyways, long time no see! How’s life? Still pranking people, I guess?”

It was a windy day on Dreamland, the kind of day where nobody dares to fly unless they’re really skilled or really dumb. Despite this, Gryll was flying on their broom, without a care. The witch was literally defying the wind, for some reasons. But, unfortunately, they’re not skilled enough to fly against the wind.

Soon enough, they got carried away by the wind to a near tree. Luckily, the crash didn’t hurt them a lot. Their luck didn’t last long. The branch cracked under Gryll’s body and they fell down on the grass. Without a word, they shooked their head and suddenly saw someone nearby. “Well, this is embarrassing.” Did he saw everything?
