Happy Chuseok to all! Often coined as the “Korean Thanksgiving,” Chuseok is a 3-day holiday in Korea. This year it is observed from September 12 to 14. Traditionally Koreans would visit their family’s home town, perform ancestral rites, and eat songpyeon (rice cakes in the shape of half moons, as seen in the photo).
