I can't believe I didn't post for 2 months!!!

And all I have to show for it are these 2 pieces

A redo of Rock's facial expressions, because the other one looked all wrong and

And a full-body Rock. I finished these, like, mid-May.

And now I've lost my apple pen, so yay 🙃

Idk about this month or next month tbfr. So yeah, hopefully you'll hear from me soon!

The Revelation

I did it! I finished it!

To start, things I messed up:

#1- I forgot to add the staff of Magius. I was already in the shading mode when I realized it

#2- A bunch of mistakes involving Raistlin's robes. Also noticed this in the shading faze

And #3- just a whole lot of little mistakes throughout

But overall, i'm glad with how it came out! My main focus was to just finish a big drawing before I felt too overwhelmed and I did it!

I hope to redraw this sometime in the future and hopefully add Caramon and Chrisania into the piece as well. And maybe do some preliminary sketches of Bupu (she looks way too tall) and Takhisis. I really just looked at some official art of Takhisis real quick. And tried my best to copy the dragons that were on the cover of the Dragons of Hourglass Mage cover for the gate.

So my next venture is to finally watch The Last Trial. I had seen it show up for years on here, but I knew I had to reread everything before I could finally watch it. I'm really hoping that this will give me a better outlook on one character (even though I highly doubt it).

Should I add a spoiler warning for this? If so, please let me know. I don't like spoiling a good story. Or is it vague enough?

During the earlier parts of their romantic relationship, when Scissors would be stunned by sudden signs of affection. It's also very rare to see Scissors whole neck.

I don't really have a story with this. I kept racking my brain for a story and the only thing I could think of is that Scissors would never kiss in a heartbreak situation. So yeah, here is one of 2 days that I missed.

Day 6

Rock isn't too keen on anything touching the back of his hands, but will indulge Scissors for a short time. He likes it more than he can admit.

I was reminded on how this prompt had popped up in 2024 and immediately thought that Scissors should be the one kissing a hand; and since i'm working on Rock this little pic came to mind. I was also thinking of using this for playful, but I didn't want to think too hard on another hand drawing.

Day 1

Scissors and Rock finally meet again after an unusually short winter storm. Rock never knew he could miss someone as much as he did her. His eyes find the top of her ponytail first and without a second thought he practically runs to her scoops her into his arms and kisses her.

Within Scissors's mind, there is no comprehension of what is happening the moment Rock scooped her up. Afterwards, the thing that surprises her the most is that he actually picked her up.

I finished it! I think it came out rather well. I need to check how it will look on PC, though. Now that I've made the most detailed piece that I've ever put together, I think i can work on another piece that has way too much detail than what i'm used to. ( And yes, it will be another Raistlin piece.)

I also made a new profile pic to go along with it.

My future banner WIP

First off, HAPPY BDAY TO ME!

I'm halfway to 40 and I'm so weirded out by that thought 😫. Anyway I decided to work on this old sketch earlier in the month and hoped I could finish it today, but this is so much work. This is probably the most detailed piece I've ever put together. Here's hoping to finishing this piece in the next couple weeks. (I think the hardest parts of it are almost over)

And once again, Raistlin! Just needed to get this one out of my head. And i'm so glad I did!

So i used this piece to try out Clip Studio Paint on my iPad; I have to say that it came out really well. I don't think doing more detailed pieces are going to be easy for me, though.

Elation

More Raistlin!

So i finished Test of the Twins, and then I realized that I was forgetting something. You see, I remembered drawing a picture; oh so many years ago; that had Raistlin, Caramon and who I misremembered as Tasselhoff in chibi form, and being followed by cats. But throughout my entire re-read there were no cats that had that much significance for ME to have drawn this picture.

I had to search "all books Raistlin Majere was in" and you might be thinking "Shouldn't you have done that at the very beginning?" And that is a valid question because I DID do that and I DID NOT SEE BROTHERS MAJERE THERE THE FIRST TIME!!! (Sorry for yelling, it's more towards me than it is to you, I promise.)

So now, I have to finish Brothers Majere which is a good thing because I'm still trying to figure out how to convey my thoughts for a certain character.

As for the actual pic itself, I was appalled to see that i didn't have a circle motif this time but I got too far into the drawing that I couldn't. Oh well, I'm still happy with how it had turned out!

Day 25 - 31

Okay, I know i hadn't been uploading, but i have been drawing everyday ( except the 26th) so here are the rest of this month's pics.

This one is an older character sheet that I started out with, but felt like it was lacking, thus why I had started this project.

Some linearts and some flats.

And lastly, 3 mockups of possible ways to make the character sheets.

Overall, I am very happy with how this month turned out. Next month, i'll be taking a short break from the character sheets and work on some other drawings I thought of during the month.
