I haven't posted in a while, so lemme throw some Flipside headcanons at ya.
-> Flipside and music production was entirely Valk's idea, Dom originally wanted to be a visual artist but that didn't work out exactly. He occasionally works with the visual team for shows, promo, stuff like that
* TV and Phight hosts were a joint idea though.
-> Im just gonna say it, I messed with their anatomy a lot to seperate them further from human anatomy. I adore digitigrade legs and sort of major anatomy differences between life stages so some of my hcs originate from there. So heres a section all about that.
* While Dom has the larger wingspan, Valk has a much longer tail than him. Valk's tail drags on the floor, Dom's barely reache his ankles.
* I like the idea of scales/spikes running up their tails and backs, but for some reason I also like the idea that Valk just has sockets where they're supposed to be.
** Dom physically cannot lay on his back comfortably bc of it.
** They preen eachother to remove little scales that grow out of the sides of their spikes so they don't end up pushing everything in the wrong way.
*Digitigrade legs suck ahh when your body isn't built for it. Valk gets around... fine. He doesn't stay standing for too long but he can. Dom after too long standing or walking or whatever has to use crutches.
** I heavy hc Dom using a cane bc not only is it hard to stay upright, his balance is completely off (big wing = heavy wing).
*** Dom probably has a lot of chronic pain tbh
* As kids, they both looked more like dragon pups. Then their bodies grew into less that.
** They probably saw their childhood pictures and went "WE LOOKED LIKE THAT!???"
-> Dom used to carry Valk when he went out flying. Now, even though he can't bring Valk out on flights anymore, he still picks Valk up to just... bring him somewhere.
*They both like to pick up people, Valk is just too small to hold most people though so he just kinda grabs them by the sleeve and pulls them.
-> I've always interpreted their birthdays as Valk came first and a stupid decision lead to Dom's conception immediately after, considering they're nine months apart. Ik inphernal reproduction doesn't work like human's but it's an idea I like to play around with.
