Narcissa always tended to overreact when it came to her sisters. As she grew, she realized both her sisters always looked out for her and felt the need to do the same, somehow. “Oh thank you! Please talk to her, she listens to you…” She said with a small nod as she pulled a strand of her golden hair behind her ear.
That was impossible when it came to the youngest Black, always thinking, always anxious, always overthinking everything and looking out for everyone… “I know, I… I wouldn’t owl them anyways, they agree with the path Bella is taking and they would probably scold me for not minding my own business…” She knew how their parents were.
Narcissa with twilight-coloured eyes was easily the fairest of the three Black sisters. More people were drawn to her with her disarmingly smart wit and incredibly charming personality; a stark contrast to Bellatrix’s ugly temper or Andromeda’s aloof sarcasm. Many even wondered how she could be related to those two.
However, the three were different and yet, were fiercely protective over each other. Even if that protection was not welcome at times- yet they stood together.
Andromeda was happy to stay beside her sisters- just as long as that path was true to who she also wanted to be.
She put a gentle arm around Narcissa and drew her closer. Offering her comfort and reassurance that she would do everything in her power to make sure Bellatrix wasn’t going to run around with the Carrows any longer – even though Andromeda didn’t think she had any control over their older sister. Narcissa was young and naïve and sweet. Andromeda would allow her to believe that everything would be just as they had been when they were young. That Andromeda could fix everything with spellotape and magical stories.
But she would try her best for her younger sister.
“I know… that path… I’ve never agreed with them on it. Sorry you had a lousy summer because of me, Cissy. I don’t mean to be argumentative but… I can’t sit and eat dinner like a good witch whilst they agree with draconian measures to preserve their bloodline. Anyway... don’t get so disheartened by all of that. You... you just enjoy your time at Hogwarts. Love your magic and learn everything about yourself. You will do great things, I know it.”
