They telling Sam to go back to his country, you know what I’m sending this shit to TheShadeRoom. Let that catch on and ruin Korea’s whole image and fuck up they bag.
.
There's a hashtag in Korean going around that translates to #IStandWithSam, and the main demographic of people sending him hate are men in their 30's-40's. As well, a group of different high schoolers posted a pic pulling the same stunt, and tagged Sam. If Sam loses his job over this, then I won't be shocked. He still has a job as an ambassador for Korean and Ghanaian relations at least. Still, this situation surrounding him is horrible and makes me question wanting to learn the language now.😥
.
I think whoever choreographs for BLACKPINK should start utilizing backup dancers for more than just the end of a song.
.
People really out here thinking , "shoulda coulda woulda didn't", "finna", and "regular degular" are new slang words because of Kpop. Not blaming anyone in particular, but it's weird seeing people think they're faves came up with new English (specifically AAVE/southern) slang. I thought people were kidding when they said they listen to nothing but Kpop, but damn. Y'all really serious?! This is your only consumption of pop culture in your life? I'm shocked like 🤯
.
Not K-pop-related, but what do you think of the acronym “poc” being used as an adjective?
It shouldnt be used as one. It's a noun. I know it's becoming the main stream way of describing people who are not wh*te, and it's getting out of control. I don't understand why people won't let us be people and and not objects.
