I'm Back, / jaejoong + minjoo
“Are you sure it’s this one?”
He glanced over at his body guard while keeping another eye on the building itself – glancing over back and forth from one person to another. JaeJoong sat with his posture straight and almost perfect, while his guard gave him all the reports he did on his mini research the prince had him off to do.
“I’m most definite, your highness. I believe the miss is actually in there as we speak, her shift should be ending in a few minutes.” The guard spoke in a gentle tone, and soft – almost unable to be caught to the human ear unless he put an immense amount of concentration in listening to his words; but his tone has always been like that towards the prince, and this was something Jae was accustomed to.
A smirk slowly crept up towards his features as he leaned over against his steering wheel, his attention now focused directly onto the female he had his guards take careful measures in watching over her. His laugh, almost sounding like a snicker had so much excitement and anticipation as to how she would react when the two would reunite once more. The guard slowly made his exit from the scene and back into the background as Jae stepped out of his gar lightheartedly; making his way towards the café.
His outfit covered up most of his facial features, a charcoal colored beanie and a large pair of sunglasses – although it was in the middle of the night which clearly doesn’t make any sense. But typically, if you’re a royal – paparazzi and attention never ceases even when the sun is set. The door made a flowing jingle sound as he opened it gently, making his way into the building and casually seating himself at the table closest to the windows.
Window seats anywhere, were always his favorite – never does he ever compromise to sit anywhere else.
As he patiently waited for his acquaintance to realize her guest, he placed on his ear buds and rested his head against the wall behind him; his eyes coming to a gentle close.
“Let’s see if you remember,” he smirked silently to himself.
Arranged Marriage –? I don't think so, / jaejoong + hwaeji
“Excuse me?”
Jae’s facial expression was blank, and struck with utter silence when he heard his mother speak with the most brightest smiles he’s ever seen on her face in years. But for the most dumbest, and ridiculous idea ever.
“Marriage? With – who?”
“Yes, Prince JaeJoong. You two have mutual feelings for one another – haven’t you? It’s a wonderful idea! Her family’s well off and the other family members have agreed to the idea!”
Jae’s eyes watched carefully of his mother’s movement back and forth; her excitement completely in the air – as though he’s already agreed to the arranged marriage and everything was set to go. Yes, it’s true that the two has had a relationship with one another in the past but – the past is the past; there’s a reason why it’s called the past. From where, and how the two families got the idea from – he has no clue and isn’t interested one bit as to finding out either. Jae immediately arose from his seat and released a deep, and concerned sigh.
“Mother, you’re more than aware of how I feel with matters concerning the palace and their officials – not to mention, an arrange marriage?! With – Do Hwaeji?!” With a loud grunt, he made his immediate exit; refusing to hear anymore of their silly fantasies they have of their children.
That was nearly an hour ago.
Now he’s sitting in the back seat of his car, being escorted back to the university with his wonderful and glorious bodyguards. Even as he’s nearly half an hour away from the palace walls; it’s as if he’s never left home.
He slides his white Galaxy SIII, and hits his contacts; scrolling down to find his ‘fiancé’, immediately sending her a notification of –
“Be outside your sorority house in 5 minutes. You better be out there.”
Clicking his phone screen off, he sighs and lays his back against the seat. The start of his weekend was a proposal made from his mother, and not just any proposal but a marriage proposal. With his past ex-girlfriend; Hwaeji. The memories of their relationship flashes in broken slides and frames flash before his mind, and the scene where ultimately where their relationship came to an end. A loud sigh violently rushed out from his mouth, while his eyelids gently closed – cutting his sight into complete darkness.
“What a headache.” He muttered softly to himself.
