Consider: the 89th Alice, Mad Hatter, Dormouse, Cheshire Cat. --> Can we link this point to the Queen’s claim that he, compared to the others, is not Joker but “a normal human”?
Does the Queen really hate men, even though back in his casino days he enjoyed talking to men? He also started his killing spree towards women after the men left him alone (probably with the women), why?

what’s the deal with the 88th alice? how can she sympathize with cheshire cat in the end?
i also want to delve more to the 89th alice’s psych, especially when he said “who is happy when i’m alive?” --> this is a dialogue from the official translation, but it’s different in the scanlations.

i think i'm reading the queen of hearts in a new light...
i'll try to make a coherent post after this but yeah. i have a lot of thoughts about his past, his "hate" towards men & the colour red, his penchant for being straightforward but also to spin lies (& probably insert cheshire cat's quote about lying to people close to you).
a crucial thing that i need (& lack) to help formulate my thoughts is the official translation of volume 3... remember the scene when, after the queen executed the duchess' friends and spoke about "the real enemies of the story" or stuff, jack looked at the queen with something like pity, to which the queen said "stop making that face"? it's puzzling when the scanlations have the queen, after that scene, say "the boy has grown accustomed to being hated" (likely referring to the 89th alice) while the official translation has the queen say "i'm used to being hated by men". or at least that's what i understand from reading a fanfiction that inserted images of the manga in english with a different translation from the scanlators' version (hence, i presume the images were from the official books).
and if the queen //did// say he was "used to being hated by men", well. it's in-line with his past as an entertainer in the casino & his encouragement for the 89th alice and jack to hate him.
i swear i'm gonna write this into a coherent meta someday, but ya. just a thought.
