We Stand Together || PINK

Like the other businesses in town Pixie’s was not immune from the chaos of the Election Mixer. Granted it wasn’t nearly as bad as when the damn place had nearly burned down but still. There were just a few minor things to worry about. And with Peri giving everyone the day off all they really had to do was clean up a few things. Not a lot but enough that Tink had pulled her hair up, put on a pair of tattered jeans and a t-shirt, and made her way over to help her sister. 

She’d already visited her at the apartment, making sure she was okay and taken care of. But of course Peri had Dodger and well, Tink didn’t want to get in the way of that love fest. When her and Sophie had gone through traumatic things the best thing they did was curl up together and just soak in each other’s presence. Peri deserved to be able to do that with Dodger. Of course Tink would sprinkle in just a few texts but not enough to warrant worry or distract from whatever she was doing.

But that was why she was helping at Pixie’s. A good excuse to help her sister and check on her. See how she was doing without coming across as too overbearing. Making her way into the back office, she set down the small care package she had cooked (ha!) up for Peri on the desk.

“Look, we’ve got all the goodies.” She grinned as she plopped herself into the chair in front of the desk. “And of course I’m here to help with whatever you need help with.”

Snapbacks and Tattoos ⚡ Perto

Since coming to Swynlake, Tito had heard only the praises of Dodger and Ollie’s boss. She was amazing, wonderful, talented. All that shit that made Tito think there was something else going on but he wasn’t going to comment on it. It wasn’t his place and he didn’t really give that much of a shit about it. (A teeny tiny lie but he ignored that like he always did). But when it came up that she was also a tattoo artist and had done a few tatt’s on Dodger already, well, Tito was immediately interested. It’d been more than a hot minute since he’d had any new ink on his skin. 

So he did what any responsible unemployed quasi-adult would do; he made an appointment with the talented, amazing, and wonderful Peri.

There was no real idea as to what he wanted to get. Though there were always several ideas floating around in his hyperactive mind. What he actually got would just depend on the mood he was in when he entered the tattoo shop. 

The little bell over the door jingled as he pushed it open and he grinned as he leaned against the counter. “I got an appointment with a Peri. M’her one o’clock.”

Homecoming || Sister, Sister

Had Tink told anyone she was coming back to Swynlake? No. Had she told anyone that after nearly two years of dating and living together and ups and downs she’d broken up with the love of her life to come home? Also no. Had she told anyone that after almost two years she was beginning to feel the loss of her wings as if they were a fresh wound ready to open up and swallow her whole? Again, no.

All she’d done was pack her bags after a trip to Belgium and told Sophie that she was sorry. That there were things she needed to work on before she could continue anything else, before she could fully 100% commit to anything.

(In retrospect maybe she hadn’t been ready to settle down. Maybe she wasn’t ready to have her great big adventure.)

(Or maybe this was all a part of her adventure. One could never tell, really.)

Arriving in Swynlake was like a breath of fresh air. She felt something within her click into place the minute she got out of her Uber from NTO. Even though she’d just arrived, she knew the first place she was going. Tink had missed Pixie’s just as much as she had missed Peri and Berlioz and Simba and even her parents. And getting there was more than easy, the path like muscle memory to her even after such an extended stay away.

Walking in, she breathed deep, feeling nothing but memories flood her as she stood by the bar. So much of her life had happened in these walls. Good, bad, ugly. All of it came flooding back to her in an overwhelming flood of emotions as she made her way towards the bar, her fingers trailing over the familiar worn wood as she looked around before heading to the back. The door to her office was closed and she only assumed that Peri was in there. Or at least she hoped her sister was there.

Knocking on the door, she fixed her hair (currently a brilliant mix of blue and purple) and smiled brightly as she lowered her voice to hopefully disguise it. “Delivery for Peri!”
