"I trusted you." - Tom
𝐀𝐌𝐄𝐋𝐈𝐀 & 𝐓𝐎𝐌 @cbitus
"What a pity."
Tom's voice lacked any warmth or compassion. It was nothing but a long drawl, almost mocking. "I thought you were smarter than that. Why would you trust me?" He cocked an eyebrow at her. "You of all people should know that I am not trustworthy."
He turned his back to her with a tsk. "Why are you making such a fuss, anyway? I thought the only thing that mattered to you was your curse -which I will remove, in time." And then, an idea tickled him. Amusing, but only because he was a vicious young man. "Don't tell me you have feelings for me, Amelia?"
“Are you… are you laughing at me?” / the horned one

"Does it matter?"
The Horned One cocked an eyebrow at Amelia, watching her with amusement -not unlike one would watch a particularly entertaining pet. "What will you do about it, I wonder? Hmm?"
He waited, almost expectant, though they perhaps both knew that He could break all the bones in her body with just a snap of His fingers. "Don't be so sensitive, sweetheart. And don't take it too personally. All humans are funny, to me."
Jedi Fish & Amelia - Good Luck, Babe a gif edit for @cbitus
@cbitus . wild padawan is sent to guard Amelia
It was Fish's first solo assignment, which would have been far more exciting if it didn't involve being a glorified babysitter. And sure, she knew that Jedis often offered security services when needed, usually to Senators or Representatives. And in these troubled times, knowledge could be a weapon as deadly as a blaster, which made the Bach archives an easy target for the Separatists. She knew that. But she would have preferred being on the front, fighting alongside her Master.
Frustration, of course, was not an emotion Jedis were supposed to feel. She could almost hear Master Obi Wan lecturing her about it. Fish was only a Padawan, though, and it was a familiar feeling for her. So many things frustrated and annoyed her! Still, she made an effort to look as composed as possible when she approached Lady Bach.
"Master Obi Wan sends me," she greeted in place of hello, slightly bowing her head, "I will be ensuring your security until further notice." She was standing straight, her blue Jedi robes fastened at the waist by a large belt, where she had attached her lightsaber. "I will need to speak to the Archives' guards and go over the general security of the facility."
@cbitus . grumpy man is forced to leave his woods and go to the Capitol
Codrin was miserable. It felt like a cruel twist of fate, and yet he knew that fate had nothing to do with this. It was Coriolanus Snow, now all grown up, who had decided that victors were to return as mentors for the 11th Hunger Games. As if he had not done his part already. The very first lamb to the slaughter, sent to the old Coliseum, and then brought back to his District with no pomp or frills.
He had not minded that the victory came without glory. He didn't feel any pride. He had survived. The last man standing -not much of a victor. And yet, he had been dragged back to the Capitol anyway, now responsible for the survival of two kids from home. And if they didn't make it out alive, he would bear the shame. All Codrin wanted was to return to his woods. Hide out there, away from the world.
But the world had other plans for him. Like this Capitol party, loud and sparkly. So... exhausting. He longed for the sounds of the forest. With a sigh, he extracted himself from an awkward conversation with an overly-powdered woman and stepped into the gardens.
Immediately, the quiet of the night swallowed him, muffling the cacophony behind. He inhaled. Here, the air didn't smell like sap and wet grass. Instead, there was the sickly sweet scent of roses. Inescapable. But it was better than the Capitolites' thick perfumes.
He noticed too late that someone was already there. A woman, all dressed in black. "Sorry," he grumbled, frustrated that his safe haven had someone in it. "I didn't think anyone would be outside."
