People are missing.
People are missing and they’re scared.
They spoke to Silver at the wedding and nothing seemed off, at least not that they’d noticed. And didn’t Diose spend so much time with Slate that she’d have told them if she was worried? They’d like to think so. Reality is probably different, but they can’t spend too long trying to pick about what’s truth and what’s lies, not now. They don’t even have the time to be nervous about the prospect of an interview because they don’t know who’s next. If they hadn’t stayed with their sister, could it have been her?
Virgo makes it their duty to keep an especially close eye on Riggs and Aldera both, to the point they don’t care how annoying they are. Having something to focus the abundance of nervous energy on is a blessing. They force themselves to make even their panic productive. There’s never a quiet moment. They even stretch so far as to slip more bright colours into their team’s wardrobe so as to spot them from a distance.
Today they fear they’ve let themselves get distracted: they haven’t checked in with Aldera even once. They cut themselves a little slack for having spent the morning fixing the length of Birch’s sleeves (they should really check Riggs’ too, they’re both far too limb-y). Doesn’t mean they don’t take the first opportunity they can to catch her off-guard, rocking back on their heels until she finally notices them.
“You disappeared.”
