maddie was sat typing away at her computer feeling pretty down. she missed her boyfriend. she was currently in her first year of college and so was he but he was a completely different state to her, he was a long way away. she had no money to get to him so the pair spent their time talking over social media and skype. it was hard but she was slowly getting used to it. she did feel jealous of all the couples wandering around campus though, she wished that she could have that too. her phone goes off, she’s got a text from her freind. the text just reads, “come down to the parking lot i’ve got a surprise for you”. maddie is feeling curious now. she grabs a hoodie and some trainers, she’s wondering what could be going on. maddie leaves her room and texts her freind, “okay i’m coming now”.
