 Time passed from a young adult to now a late twenty’s, advancing his career in Mystic Falls as the town’s sheriff. Matt has been offered higher positions out of state a fresh new start, years ago he met and fell in love with Betty a girl who moved but he never had the guts to express his feelings.  Now in his new role as the chief director for New York Police Department, taking a small tour to familiarize with the new lively city. Stuffing his hands into his jean jacket pockets eyes ahead, alot of rare people asking for attention he stopped for a moment to catch Betty walking towards him.  “Betty?”

  Walking from the football field now to the school parking lot, he did take a quick glance around him there she was with a group of girls. Squinting his eyes was she in a cheer leading outfit? that was quick but it meant they would be around each other more.

      Turning around noticing a blonde  “Hi I’m Matt, and you are?” extends his hand towards the female.

    As he was taking the usual run around town he spotted a familiar face, he stopped the watch now giving his full attention “Hey there, joining me for a run?”

Shifting out of the bed remembering that Bonnie had stayed over, opening his bedroom door to the guest room; knocking softly twice before he took a step back “Bon? are you awake?” Matt spoke outloud leaning on the wooden doorway “I can make breakfast.”
