albedo doesn't normally frequent these ruins. there's never been a point before, but THIS TIME, there is a reason for it. of course, he's still apprehensive; anything involving robots and artificial intelligence, especially where his own people had once been involved, is always a recipe for trouble.
albedo is a master alchemist. he's not particularly TRAINED to handle these ruins in such a manner, but the knights had wanted someone skilled, like himself to handle it, citing his own personal expertise in the matter. it was an excuse that albedo regrets ever bringing up with people in the first place.
his footsteps echo across the flooring, revealing just how empty this ancient facility is. it's cold, with no lighting, and a massive artificial intelligence right in the center. there are several pulleys and chains allowing this once living being to move around at will, but as far as albedo knows, it's long been defunct. hundreds of years have passed, though he's not exactly counting it as dead, either.
after all, this is why he's here. to see if all the hushed and paranoid rumors of activity in this facility are true.
heading over to a side panel, albedo flips a couple of switches. they creak and groan from disuse, but to his delight, the power still works. "alright," albedo muses to himself. he's more interested in the old ruin guards than the large artificial intelligence in the center of this room. ruin guards have always had this ability to spring back to life at random, and he wants to be ready for it.
"i doubt anything will come back," he continues to say to himself. just his case, he's staring intently at one such ruin guard. field harvester. "all i can say is thank goodness klee's not here with me. this places even gives me the creeps."
