This sort of deal wasn’t really Winnie’s scene--at least not anymore. It quickly became the talk of the town that there was this thing going down. It definitely seemed more geared towards her brother’s age of partiers, but what really piqued Winnie’s interest was hearing Christopher talking about it. It had been in passing and admittedly, she wasn’t even part of the conversation, but that made it worth checking out, right? Wearing a mask might give her that confidence boost Winnie was looking for to actually talk to Christopher.
The idea was enough to spur her into action. First she needed a costume and a mask. She knew that well enough. Putting the energy into figuring out the costume made it a little less nerve wracking when she showed up and started looking for Christopher. Admittedly, maybe dressing as Sandy from Grease in that little leather outfit and heels was a bad idea for the middle of a field. At least she wore a faux leather jacket over it to stay warm. As she made her way into the crowd, Winnie had to stop for a moment to carefully pull her heel from the dirt as she heard a familiar voice. Freeing her heel, she straightened up and made her way towards the familiar figure in wearing devil’s horns.
“Christopher? Going as the devil in disguise?”
