Normally, thinly-veiled insults disguised as compliments, as well as manipulation of their insecurities. He’s kind of a dick like that.

Peter sometimes hesitates when he realizes his plans might hurt someone he genuinely cares for. He tries not to get attached to too many people for that very reason, but when he does, it’s unavoidable.
