U kno what the worst part of Tetsu killing Izuku in villain verse? The fact that he’s able to. The fact that he’s the only one able to.
The fact that if he’d done it sooner, the first time they’d ‘met’ then none of this would have happened. His classmates wouldn’t be dead. The country wouldn’t be in chaos. They’d mourn the Izuku they all knew and move on.
And now it’s too late, there’s nothing to prevent because it’s already happened.
He knew his mother was busy, that she was with Nunnally today. They could leave, they were allowed to...while he remained behind. It wasn’t fair. It was never fair...Bitterness and anger swelled in his small chest while he paced his room. But, he did stop, did take a breath...they’d be home soon. He could talk with Nunnally then.
She was always the one to cheer him up, after all.
Opening his door, he walked out, taking care to remember where obstacles were currently placed--he’d run into things if he wasn’t careful. It always happened. His feet were the only sound he heard as he moved down the hall on such a peaceful day...it was odd. Where was everyone? Ah, must be waiting for Marianne and Nunnally to return. They’d be in the entryway--
The sudden sound of shattering glass startled him into a stumble and he froze. What was that other accompanying sound? His breath hitched in his throat and his mind worked furiously, knowing what it sounded like, but he didn’t want to believe it.
‘Mother, Nunnally--'
Lelouch quickly broke into a run, pushing through the exhaustion that came on quickly, there was no time to slow down. He pushed open the doors to the entryway and was suddenly caught by a multitude of hands, holding him from running any further, keeping him in place. As he struggled, the adults said nothing.
“Nunnally! Mother! What hap--”
“Marianne’s been killed.”
A silence followed those words, only for his voice to cut through it sharply. “You’re lying! Where are they?! Where’s Nunnally?!”
“Right in front of you, young prince.” Where he was, he could hear a slight quiver in the man’s voice. And, now that he was paying attention...could smell the slight hint of iron that would only get worse the longer blood remained. He could’ve sworn his heart stopped...especially as he could now hear the quiet sounds of his sister, trapped beneath her unmoving mother.
“Nunnally!” He shouted, ripping his arms free of the others and ran down the stairs; almost tripping, almost stumbling when he reached the scene. “Nunnally--”
Thank goodness she was alive. Thank goodness, he still had his little sister. He never wanted to lose her, never wanted her to experience such tragedy as he could feel tears pouring from his own eyes. Finding her hand, he took it in both of his own.
Send “I’m sorry” for my Muse’s reaction to yours following orders to kill them.
Send “But why!?” for the opposite.
@aemulo
For a moment everything is still, quiet. Almost peaceful. The room illuminated by soft candle light and even softer moonlight. The song of nocturnal birds and insects filling in the space where words failed.
Perhaps on another night one may describe it as beautiful, this kingdom of darkness...it was not without its charms.
If it were not for the imbalance, if it were not for the lives at stake. Izuku thinks...he should like to stay here. Would like to listen to more tales of the arts a warrior like himself had never known. Would like to stay, bathed in moonlight.
But it does not matter what he would like. From birth he has had no will of his own. This was the one thing he was meant to do, he was nothing more than this act;
The plunging of a golden sword dipped in sun-rays into the heart of the one he had come to adore. His moon.
“I am...truly sorry,” Voice no more than a whisper. Selfish words and selfish tears. Because this was his duty. Because he was doing the right thing. But it still felt so wrong, and so he allows himself to grieve what he has no right to grieve.
Looking with heartbreak as constellation skin fades back to natural, warm, earth tones. Eyes still bright and piercing but fading as well; reflecting back the fear of a lost child. He could not even tell which one of them is shaking any more.
What would have happened if only the sun warrior had been a bit more selfish, spared the Moon because it was what he wanted? He supposed he would never know.
Would never become starlight. Not this time. Instead, as the moon outside the window flickers to darkness he stands as what he was intended.
The sun’s vengeance pouring through his blade, and blood dripping around it. And it is over just like that.
“I’m not freaking out, but it feels like time is running out.” @Death

“You are freaking out but it’s understandable in this case. If your friends don’t hurry, it might be too late to save you.” Death replied, shifting from their male to their female appearance while talking.
The fact that Neville Longbottom was so close to death was the reason why they were here. Only Fate would be able to tell now if the young man would make it or not and their old friend hadn’t told them yet, which was quite unusual in itself.
As promised here is a drabble for @invisiquirk based on the Story Of Evil vocaloid songs (Princess of Evil, Servant of Evil, and Regret Message)
This can also be considered an Alternative to precepts verse, as it happens immediately after the precepts were raided by pro heroes.
Warnings: body horror, major character death, implied suicide
For a moment after pressing ‘record’ the room fell silent, the only noise was the spinning of the tape inside the old-fashioned device (this was better, left no trace unlike a digital recording)
“Good morning,” Izuku started simple, as if this were a normal conversation; instead of a recording that would only be played after his death. A message from beyond the grave. “I hope you slept well.”
A pause. Not to collect his thoughts, he already knows what he wants to say. But to give his listener a chance to gain their bearings before continuing.
“I know you must feel pretty scared right now, given everything that’s happened. But you’re safe. You still trust me enough to believe that, right?” at least, he hoped so. “The police don’t know where you are, nor do the league of villains.”
“I...don’t have a perfect understanding of what’s going on.” He admitted, voice soft, not accusatory. He’d already come to terms with the truth while the source of his confusion--and target of his affections--rested. After everything they had been through, he wouldn’t be surprised if they slept an entire year.
They deserved at least one good night’s sleep. Or did they? Perhaps not. Perhaps what they deserved was prison, or whatever the league had planned. But it was what he wanted for them.
“Hagakure. You were forced to make an impossible choice. And you did what you thought was right. So, I can’t fault you for that. Especially not after what I've done.” Izuku paused once more, this time to glance over at Tooru’s sleeping form. Still dead to the world, but he could see the steady rise and fall of their chest. “I’m so sorry.”
“There’s no excuses, I won’t say that I had to or that there was no other way. It’s true but it doesn’t make it right. Doesn’t make it forgivable. If you never forgive me, for as long as you live; that would still be sooner than I've earned.” It may sound vague, but they’ll understand when they wake. “I remember. Talking about quirks.”
“Maybe, maybe I should have seen this coming. Given what you said then.” His laugh was strained, forced levity. “When I was young, I used to practice my parent’s quirks; hoping one would manifest. Even when I stopped trying, I still hoped every day it would just appear; a quirk. Even after entering UA.”
“I don’t hope for that anymore. I...am happy with who I am. Not having a quirk is part of who I am.” A small creak of his chair as he leans back in it, sure to be caught on the recording. “Your quirk is part of who you are, and so is the pain it’s brought you. That’s why, despite what you said then...taking it...is unforgivable.”
“You’re strong, so strong.” Leaning forward again. “In more ways than one. You can survive without it, I know you can. It will be difficult but you won’t be alone. This house...the one you’ll wake up in, is my childhood home.”
“My mom, she’s a kind woman. If you tell her the truth or decide to hide it, either way, she’ll help you. I know she will. I’ve prepared a letter for her, too, it’s taped to the bottom of this recording.” Well, not yet, it’s still sitting on the desk right now, unaddressed. But it will be, by the time Hagakure listens to this recording.
“I know I have no right to ask you any favors, not now. I don’t deserve your help, but she does. She deserves to know that this isn’t her fault. There’s nothing she could have done. So, please, give that letter to her.” And he wasn’t the gambling type, but he had a feeling that they would do what he asked. No matter how much they tried to hide it, they had a good heart.
“Next to that, there’ll be a folder. Inside is everything you need to start over. I’m not particularly proud of how I managed to do this, so I won’t go into too many details, but those documents are your new Identity. After today, Hagakure Tooru will be dead, and you’ll be free. There’s also some cash, not much. But enough for a train ticket if you choose to leave.”
“It’s up to you now, what you want to do next. If you want to return to UA. Return to...the life you were leading. Or something entirely new. I can’t tell you what to do. But I hope...I hope whatever you choose you’ll be happy.”
There was a slight stirring on the bed behind him, causing him to look once more. They looked peaceful in their sleep, strands of hair falling in their face and a slight smile on their lips.
“You know...right now...you look like you could be happy. Are you having a good dream? I hope so. That smile...I’ll remember it until the second i’m gone.” Which would only be a few hours from now, but no need to dwell on that. “I never cared much that I couldn’t see you. It was frustrating, at times, not being able to read your expression. Not being able to see wounds you may be hiding. But...it never felt like something was missing.”
“I could hear you, the sound of your voice. Your laugh. The special mocking tone you saved just for Kacchan. And I could feel you, your soft hair, your warm hands. That was enough, more than enough....but I can’t deny, how happy I am I got to see your smile; at least once.”
“There’s so many things I want to say to you, that I want you to hear. But that would be unfair. I know, because anything I say is something you have to carry with you from now on. I don’t want to burden you.” So the words ‘I love you’ would remain unsaid, on his lips but not in the air.
“But...it’s important that you know...I have a lot of regrets. Things I would have done differently. But you, you were never on that list. Even now. I don’t regret this. Not if it means you get to live. Alright? Don’t...don’t blame yourself.”
“Goodbye, Tooru.” With that, he clicked the recording off. First names were probably a little too familiar, but it was the last chance he’d ever have to say it. Besides, with everything he’s done what’s one social faux pas?
Izuku taped the letter meant for his mother to the bottom of the recorder and rewound the tape before sitting it on the table beside the bed. He debated, for just a moment before brushing his lips against their forehead. Dying men are filled with all sorts of daring, aren’t they?
Standing up straight, he pressed the ‘on’ button on Hagakure’s control panel. Or, rather, his own. The suit turned invisible, along with himself. It wasn’t a flawless disguise, of course, but with Hagakure’s clothes over it; it was close enough. And he doubted the league would ask many questions before he was decayed to dust or burned to ash.
In fact, he was counting on it.
Careful not to wake them--this was one goodbye that couldn’t be done in person--he left the room, shutting the door behind with a soft ‘click’.

neck: my muse strangles yoursIt hadn’t happened all th
@defrostiing
It hadn’t happened very quickly, all things considered, there was plenty of preamble.
Although Izuku wasn’t sure what caused it, he recognized the early signs of panic; Todoroki’s entire body going rigid, eyes slowly widening as if he was witnessing something horrific even though it appeared as if he was staring at empty space.
“Hey,” Izuku said, stepping into his view and looking at his friend with concern, “Are you alright?”
It was obvious he wasn’t, that much was clear, although Todoroki didn’t answer as much. He didn’t make any sound other than a choked noise of fear, chest heaving up and down with the force of his rapid breathing, as he stumbled backwards away from Izuku--
No, that wasn’t quite right, his gaze wasn’t looking at Izuku, it was looking past him. Some invisible incarnation of his fears that was causing the bi-chromatic teen to tremble in a way that was so uncharacteristic. And so, so, alarming.
An alarm that caused Izuku to make an extremely unwise decision.
“Hey!” Louder, this time, trying to snap Todoroki out of his stupor, as he stepped forward, gripping at his shoulders and giving them a firm shake. Finally, the other finally reacted, seeming to finally see Izuku, but with an expression of intense terror.
The next thing the green haired boy knew he was on the ground, all the air knocked out of his lungs from the impact and no chance at getting it back as hands closed around his throat. One leaving a searing burn mark and one sending frost crawling up towards his jaw and ear.
“To--” any attempt to speak was silenced by the lack of airflow and the crushing pressure being applied to his windpipe, leaving Izuku with no choice to simply mouth the syllables of his friend’s name.
Clawing at the other’s hands proved counter productive, only serving to cause more force to be applied--the student pining him down leaning into the hold and using his full body weight--and leaving him with fresh burns and frost bite on his fingers where they met Todoroki’s skin.
Lack of oxygen was making his brain hazy, unable to think of a way out of the situation as even his vision began to blur; just absently thrashing in futile attempts to throw the other student off of him, or to loosen the hold enough to allow him to breath.
Those mismatched eyes were still wide and unfocused, and filled with such unsure emotion that he couldn’t even find it in himself to be angry as he attempted to struggle free. Lips tingling and cold, surely blue by now although whether the sensation was because of the other’s ice or due to the absence of air remained to be seen.
Emerald eyes rolled back into his head leaving only the whites as he clenched his teeth and gave one last valiant but weakened attempt to push Todoroki off him; after that, the world went black.
