So, I’m like. Doing a breakdown of each episode for my own characterization purposes and to keep shit straight because canon is confusing I’m paranoid as fuck about RPing Elliot. Will be focusing mostly on Elliot and Mr. Robot for obvious reasons. Also obvious that there will be nonstop spoilers.
Yeh. Don’t know how interesting this is to anyone else. Good way to see what I consider important about Elliot and his relationships, though.
Angela
One of the good ones.
He considers her “normal” (the way he wishes he could be) living in a bubble. He admits he justifies his own actions because he’s able to keep her (and Krista’s) optimism intact.
Claims she has shitty taste in men, and that he doesn’t tell her about Ollie’s infidelities because he’s not ready to deal with her next bad choice.
Promised he’d try to go to her birthday party this time. Doesn’t when he sees how crowded the restaurant is and then Ollie kissing her.
Doesn’t like being touched, but is able to hug her.
Angela seems to know that if she says she needs him, he’ll come to help her.
Angela mentions that she hasn’t been to his apartment in a long time. Their friendship has been deteriorating pre-series. Not just because of Elliot.
Elliot claims that he can’t reach out to “friends or family” when he gets sad; why can’t he reach out to Angela?
Krista
He thinks that she’s different because she at least tries to protect people from the pain of being alone.
He thinks she’s bad at reading people, possibly because she is too optimistic to look for the worst in them the way he does.
She mentions that he was “yelling” before, but is now repressing his anger, and that he has talked to her about the men in black. Has prescribed him meds for these delusions.
He doesn’t want her to be frustrated with not being able to help him.
Hacks her boyfriend to keep his mind off of the Evil Corp investigation. Also considers her normal, optimistic, living in a bubble like Angela, but he wants her to develop a radar so he makes boyfriend tell her everything.
Hacking
Hacks Ron when he feels powerless due not being able to go to Angela’s birthday party. Hacks “Michael” when he feels powerless about Evil Corp and the lack of results from his framing of Terry Colby AND Angela not talking to him after the meeting where he tried to protect her. Hacks Ollie after Angela begins dating him--has no power to protect Angela or to be with her, but has power of knowing he could end their relationship by telling Angela he’s cheating on her.
Misc.
Tells Shayla that he won’t take morphine on the house because it’s “just a regular drug deal like it always is. Is cruel to her when her presence drives Angela away.
Awkward about Gideon coming out to him, probably because it’s so personal. PROMISES TO GET THE GUYS WHO DID IT. Honestly does care about Gideon even though he’s collateral damage of fsociety.
When he sees “Michael” abusing Flipper, he seems to be reminded of the abuse he faced, and then asks to borrow his phone to “call his mom.”
How did he break his phone?
Is so very offended by Ollie’s password.
Likes most of the people at work, just hates what they do.
DARLENE FUCKING STARING AT HIM WHEN MR. ROBOT IS SHOWING HIM AROUND FSOCIETY. What in the hell is really happening. Is he wandering around talking to himself???
