“The forgiving for killing people is the easy part,” After all both Ian and she had done it and Eric loved them both didn’t he. “Its the quiet part thats the problem.” She pointed out with a smile as she worked on the muscles in his back. The groan had her lips curling up even more. The pressure of the long digits always eased when she got near the scar along his spin where she knew the bullet had come out.
She let her fingers move over it and the others from his youth more carefully, almost admiringly. She wanted to tell him it was alright though she doubted this was about the scars. No he was stiil sore but the fact was that they were getting older too. She wanted to assure him but knew that that would probably make it worse. Instead she focused on getting the kinks out of the muscles around his spine.
She snorted. “Of course he’s a cat person.” She chuckled but was smirking. “Well lucky for him, he doesn’t have to be at a wedding.” She joked. Its not like it was THEIR wedding anyway.
The sudden silence ensuing had him frown. Eric didn't say anything, though; perhaps Alex was just thinking. Just...what, was what he was wondering. Anything interesting? Anything he could have helped her with? Hopefully nothing bad...
Eric smiled. "I don't think he had a choice with tha' cat..." he mused. "Mister Freckles jus' showed up an' followed him home an' he fed it an' he's stayed with him since." He flinched slightly when Alex hit another knot. "Before him, Ian had 'nother cat. I don't know...they jus' koinda show up an' never leave an' he doesn't moind."
