character development meme ; day 7

Where does your character live? Why did they choose it, and how did they acquire it? How do they handle intruders (graciously? violently?)? Describe the space.

Choa lives in London with her parents and five younger siblings. Needless to say, being so young and still living with her family, she didn't have a say in the matter, but she loves London and probably wouldn't live elsewhere if even given the chance. Intruders, it depends, of course anyone unwelcome she would be wary of and protective of her siblings, though she's a natural little hostess and welcome visitors are always treated graciously. The home is nice enough, a modest four-bedroom. Being the eldest, she's the only one of her siblings with her own space without having to share a room with someone else, and it's quite the typical teenage girl bedroom. Light yellow walls, white furniture, a pink bedspread and rug. Books cover most available surfaces, from fiction to recipe books, and she also has quite a few movies and videogames lying about. For additional furniture, she has a vanity that, quite messily, has cosmetics scattered all around it, and a wardrobe that she's had since she was young and would often play pretend inside of, imagining she was going to Narnia. Her room is colorful, quaint, and very... her.

Currently, Hongki lives at Hogwarts, and doesn't know what to do or where to go come summertime. He's had a really intense falling out with his mother and has no plans of returning to her, so he's a bit stuck where he is, honestly. Before they fell out, though, Hongki lived a nomadic lifestyle, as he and his mother moved all about Europe, never staying in one place for more than year or so. Most recently they've been living in Ireland, though his mother likely won't stay there long. Needless to say, he didn't choose the location himself, he had to live where she chose. Intruders never really happened, either. In spite of abandoning magic for the most part, Hongki's mother's paranoia still prevails and she always puts charms on their homes to prevent such a thing from happening. They never even got visitors. The only space that was truly his, wherever they'd go, was his bedroom, and because he's gotten used to picking up and leaving again, he never took the time to really decorate and personalize. His room at home is pretty bare: white walls, a bed, a desk, a book shelf. Sometimes some of his sketches will get stuck to the wall, but he inevitably takes them down. At the moment, however, he is homeless, and is a bit panicked about what to do when school lets out.
