DeAngelos family stuff!!
D finds herself thinking about her family when she’s around others with their relatives. She often wonders what it would be like to have parents, parents who would care about her no matter what. She only knew her mother and father for four years before she was taken away from them and they were slaughtered. She doesn’t remember anything, and that destroys her. She doesn’t know what her father would’ve said if she asked him for advice, she doesn’t know what her mother would’ve done if she was in danger. She has an idea, but she cant create a scenario that she deems realistic. Both of her parents were incredibly talented people, who used their talents aid aid others. They didn’t have to take orders, they made their own decisions. D took orders for most of her life. She often though about their response to her being involved in murder plots and theft disguised as missions for the good of mankind. They’d never know she regretted so much and had so little to live for.
D’s brother was fifteen when he died. She always thinks about what it could have been, if the agency hadn’t abducted her. Sometimes she wishes she’d’ve died with her family. At least then she wouldn’t have grown up in a corrupt institution breeding her to be a soldier.
