‘ Lyse. A moment of your time if I may. ‘ What words could the young lord possibly express the the awe that this woman had put him in. He could remember the talk of wanting to take back Doma and while he had his doubts, he willingly fought in this what seemed to be a hopeless war only to be surprised by the outcome.and even more so now that he got to lay witness to Ala Mhigos liberation soon after Doma’s. What he witnessed was a not only a miracle but a reassurance that not all was lost even in the most hopeless of situations, that there was light in the dark tunnels. He believed in her and he couldn’t be more proud of her. ‘ When we met, I thought much like the rest that it would be hopeless but I chose to fight, I chose to believe that there was a possibility for a better future and by the grace of you and yours was my prayers answered and my people free from the tyranny of the empire. This victory is no small feat either but it was you who gave them all the hope they needed to fight when there was none. You burn bright, little Phoenix and I am proud of you-- we all are. ‘ He felt like he was rambling by this point but there was little shame he felt to be had as this was a time to celebrate and share words of appreciation. ‘ Mayhap.... You would join me for a drink? To celebrate? ‘ He had to return to Doma soon but he could stay around for one more night, couldn’t he? / @multisfantasias liked for a starter.
