☾Asticus
Thaddeus' “regular” 'verse is sort of odd. It's going to be tagged as ☾Asticus.
The world is akin to how it is regularly, plain ol' Earth. Where he lives is based around Washington state and is quite French influenced, with some Spanish slipping into the mix with city and town names and such.
Densely wooded and mountainous, with plenty of space for remote witch homes, is the region where Thaddeus' mother has resided for the last hundred or so years. She opened up an apothecary in the nearest city, Folant, and lived in the space above it for many a year, before she met Thaddeus' father and settled in with children.
Thaddeus' childhood home is located in the woods some thirty-odd miles from Folant, between said place and another very sparse town named Pinebarrow. You need to travel quite a ways down a desolate stretch of highway, then turn onto a winding and very confusing dirt road to locate the house. Invisibility spells are usually active around the house, in case of the event of a human taking a particular dislike with Magicks wanders down.
Mortals still aren't fond of magic users, though it isn't as bad as it is in the 'verse built up originally.
As of the late, Thad has taken to reopening the dormant shop for his mother. He sells herbs and potions and random trinkets and baubles. He lives in the apartment space above the shop, and visits home quite often, after closing up the shop sometimes as well as every Sunday and holiday.
The shop is named “Holly and Co.” – although the “Co.” part is just a one-eyed black cat who's almost as much of a grump as Thad is, and the occasional family member if they decide to visit for a day or two themselves.
I'm debating on whether or not he should be taking online classes or attends night classes for arcane teachings.
