“Alright, that’s it. I’ve had just about enough with that smug smile of yours.” Joan huffed as she made a show of rolling the sleeves of her dress up to her elbows. Clenching her small hands into fists, she raised them to her chest and undulated them in small awkward circles as she tried to imitate the men she had seen boxing at the camp. The nurse tried her best to appear intimidating but could not help how her lips curled up in a small smile at how silly she must have seemed. “Come on then, fight me. I’ll toss you in the dirt like I’ve done with my brother countless times.“

Pick a fight with my muse. About anything. Just do it!
A giggle escaped the soldier’s lips, his brow rising as he watched Joan trying to so hard to look intimidating. It was truly cute to watch, and he had to give his best as to not laugh out loud and grin like an idiot. He shook his head. “Wha’s tha’ all ‘bout?” His head tilted to the side as he studied her from top to toe. “Ye know ye’re gonna break yer hands like tha’? Ye go’a turn yer hand a lil, and don’t curl yer index finger ‘round yer thumb…”
