           leila’s sitting quietly as clarke’s daughter attempts to work a brush through long, tangled hair. letha does what she can, but even the older twin knows that when she’s not really conscious to things that letha loses patience with it. but the young blonde does not seem to have any problem that leila sits mostly silently while she works through her hair. athena had assured her that they would braid it next and it would look amazing. she just loves leila’s hair. 

            “you may not be able to get enough of those tangles out to braid this, little one.” her voice is rough, swallowing because she doesn’t speak often, even with what the skai children have managed to do. “we can get it wet again if it would help you.”

          “i like your eyes.” leil’s shoulders roll a little, wide and mismatched eyes focused on the tiny brunette. feels like a demon, but she’s never entirely sure. just that she’s tiny and cute and all dark hair and blue eyes and special.

            “oh!” don’t believe the shocked tone of voice where the brunette bumps into the petite redhead. it was really quite intentional. green eyes, always interesting. letha knew a witch with them too. her own mismatched gaze searches for long moments, before a blink and roll of her shoulders brings her back to present. supposed to be an accident. “sorry! didn’t mean to run ya’ over! i wasn’t payin’ enough attention!”
