Hanabi was starting to piece together words into sentences. Patience was a virtue Hiashi struggled with, but it was a learning process. The little girl was nothing compared to how fast Naruto learned to construct his words together.
The young Hyuga held onto her father’s robe, watching intently as the Uzumaki helped her son with his jacket and zipped it up for him. A prominent pout appeared on her lips, knowing that the lady with the red hair and the loud boy would be leaving.
Kushina ruffled Hinata’s locks, eliciting a giggle. “Alright, we’re off! Call us if you need anything, Hiashi.” For the past two years, that had always been a saying to the Hyuga head. She knew how the man got at times and his brutal training, upbringing of his eldest daughter, at times frustration got the better of him.
The youngest reached out her arms to the the Uzumaki, who gladly took her for a moment. A tight hug in the best way she could, tiny arms around the Uzumaki’s neck. “’ba-tan-!” She stated proudly in her baby voice that squeaked. “-’ove you!”
The exclamation left the woman laughing, kissing the girl’s forehead. “You too, Hanabi-chan, ‘ttebane. Good job!”
