Since the newest Hellboy trailer gave me a bunches of vibes again I decided to bring back my older Muse Nuada, also from the earlier Hellboy movie. I paused to write him for like 6 months since I didn’t feel much of his muse anymore and I needed a break.

And now, Ta-Dah!

NEW MUSE ALERT: BALMUNG

The Holy Sword of the Hero Siegfried from the Nibelungenlied. It is most notable for slaying the dragon Fafnir, and remained by Siegfried's side until his tragic end when he convinces Hagen to kill him so there will be no war. After this, it is carried by Hagen until Kremimhild takes her revenge on him, when she uses Balmung to behead him, before she too is killed.

CLASS/CLASSIFICATION: Touken Danshi/Saber Class Servant

Appearance: Balmung is tall, standing at 186 cm or just over 6'1”. He and Gram are of similar build, and stand at exactly the same height. Unlike both Gram and Dainsleif, Balmung is not clad in full armour, but rather dressed in more elgant robes of nordic nobility. He is quite beautiful, with long blonde hair and glimmering green eyes the same colour as the curse mark left by Fafnir on Siegfried. He is almost always seen smiling, and gives off a warm vibe.

Personality: Bright, warm, and cheerful, are the first words that come to mind when you think of this holy sword. He is full of energy and exuberance, and seems to almost always be smiling. His constant smiles and friendly atitidue bely his grief at the fate of Siegfried, Hagen, and Kreimheld, which he witness and took part in.

Devoted, steadfast, and loyal, he is a reliable blade who will serve his master or saniwa undyingly. Gram is his older brother, and he looks up to him a lot despite feeling sorry for him.
