~ She was scared out of her mind. The Decepticons managed toget her as well as the kids, and Megatron had taken them out to orbit, to make atrade. Their lives for the bots surrender.
She and the kids had screamed at the bots from in theirpods, telling them not to go through with it, but they didn’t listen. Theyarrived on the flight deck of the Nemesis, and were bound and made to kneel ina line, while Megatron stalked in front of them. Before Arcee, he unsheathedhis blade and brought it down on her neck, separating her helm from hershoulders.
Jack started screaming in grief, joined by Miko and Raf asBulkhead, Bumblebee and Ratchet suffered the same fate. June waited forMegatron to do the same to Optimus, but instead, he turned to his troops, ordering them to open the pods, to let Optimus see them die. June feel the airleave the pod, her hands going to her throat as she started choking on the lackof air. She last thing she saw was Megatron’s hellfire optics before she blackedout… ~
[[ @theautobotarcee, because someone asked for you too. ]]
~ A simple drive. Just a quick milk run, to borrow a phrase. But it went horribly wrong.
June was helpless to do anything as she and Arcee were hitby the electric shock. Helpless to stop MECH from picking the two of them upand taking them some place. She could do nothing as she was cuffed to a railingand Arcee strapped to a table.
She could only watch as they carved into Arcee’s chassis, picking her open to find everything that made the bots tick. Hear the cursesand the cries and screams of pain over the sound of the drills and saws. Smelland taste the energon and ammonia in the air. And finally, she watched thelight in Arcee’s optics and spark die out as the scientists removed her chamberfrom her.
And she could hear the bots coming now, fighting MECH intothe room, but she couldn’t look at them, her eyes locked on Arcee’s frame, tears streaming from the loss of the bot she considered a friend, an almostdaughter. ~
She woke with tear tracks over her face and she had to checkthe garage for Arcee, breathing a sigh of relief at the sight of the bike inthere. Still, she wasn’t sure she’d be able to sleep in bed again that night,so she grabbed some extra blankets and pillows and settled on the couch, watchingArcee until she fell asleep again.
"Nat?" He sighed, having gone through these himself, as he wraps his arms around her, holding her tight to his body, comforting her, her nude skin warm and good against them, as he rocks against her back and forth. "Sssh. It's allright. I'm here. You're home. Safe."
Natasha sat up feeling him pull her tight. Tears leaking from her eyes as she felt his warm embrace. Wrapping herself around him like an anaconda around it's prey. She let out a soft sobbing allowing only him to see her like this. She had on and off nightmares but worse once Steve died. He had been a close friend to her and the one that brought her and James together once again. Letting herself be vulnerable just seconds longer with James she held onto him tight almost afraid he would vanish like Steve.
"Sheik.. whats the matter?" he reached out and stroked the younger man's hair. Gently Atem laced his fingers through Sheik's and cuddled him close.
My muse just woke from a bad dream. How would your muse comfort theme?
‘scuse me i drabbled sorry not sorry
When Sheik awoke, it was with a start and a quick intake of breath, his heart racing and mind still catching up to the fact that he was, in all reality, safe, and not trapped in that nightmare any longer. His lithe form was a little tense, breathing ragged, as he tried to reassure himself of the fact that he was safe, he wasn’t trapped, it wasn’t real—
A reassuring hand stroked his hair, a familiar voice accompanying the action. “Sheik… What’s the matter?” Hearing the familiar voice served to assuage some of the fear –– he wasn’t alone, there was someone with him, he didn’t need to be afraid…
“…Nightmare,” was Sheik’s simple response, fingers interlacing with Atem’s as he spoke. The Sheikah welcomed the feeling of someone else’s touch at this moment, taking a slow breath as he did his best to relax. Dreams like that one always rattled him, shaking him, because his own mind knew how to destroy him so very well.
The Sheikah was still calming down, heart pounding, as he felt an arm going around him, pulling him near. He let himself be cuddled close, instinctively curling into the Pharaoh’s embrace. Having someone close to him honestly helped alleviate the terror –– in his nightmares he was always alone, facing something he feared, something that terrified him… The simple fact that he wasn’t alone helped rid him of some of the fear that gripped him.
Unconsciously pressing himself a bit closer to the Pharaoh in some attempt to gain more comfort, the Sheikah’s scarlet eyes met the violet of Atem’s for a moment before Sheik glanced away, eyes slipping shut. His heart-rate had almost returned to normal, breathing becoming easier… Atem’s presence served to distract Sheik from his thoughts, keeping his mind elsewhere. At time’s like this, the blond’s mind was his own worst enemy, bringing up things he’d rather not recall.
“Better?” Atem’s voice was gentle as he spoke, fingers toying with the ends of Sheik’s overly long hair.
Sheik took a slow breath before replying, allowing himself to relax further. “Mm… Thank you.” As odd as it was for one such as him, who normally distanced himself from others, in times like this, all he really wanted was just to be close to someone. He might deny that fact, but having someone who was willing to be near him when he was weaker like this, when his defences crumbled, it meant a lot to him.
The Pharaoh gave a quiet laugh, his embrace tightening ever so slightly. “Why are you thanking me? I don’t mind at all.” Fingers ran through Sheik’s hair, relaxing him further. Though he might not admit to it, he did like like it when people played with his hair –– not that many actually got close enough to him to learn this fact.
“Still…” Sheik’s voice was all but a whispers, eyes slipping closed as sleep reclaimed him, his form so very relaxed. “I ‘preciate it.” His tone, a sleepy mumble, reflected how he was feeling, coherent though slowly slipping away as he drifted off, perfectly content where he was, content in the Pharaoh’s arms…
