Dear best hyung,
Dear best hyung,
When will you take me drinking? I probably should grow a dependency on alcohol at such an age, but hey, I’ve seen younger going out to clubs. Maybe I finally hit my rebellious stage ^^ How lucky for you to be around during it. You know, I’ve always wanted to do something dangerous, something risking but nothing to potentially jeopardize the path I’m walking on. Seems kind of contradicting doesn’t it? I want to travel, I want to see everything this world has to offer before I die, and I know you may say something like ’ you’re still young ’ but, not everyday is guaranteed. I could die right now, or maybe ten minutes after writing this letter? Who knows? I surely don’t.
Hyung, have you ever been outside of the country? I have, just a couple of times. I went to the Bahamas once and somehow manged to get through it without to much trouble, my English isn’t very good, but I’ve been needing to work on that. You wouldn’t happen to know English would you? Ah. There I go, looking to you for help. It seems almost second nature now, even if you aren’t my true hyung. Did I ever tell you I always wanted an older brother? Someone to look up to, someone to look to for answers when my head became to foggy, an someone to teach me things that truly don’t matter or could be useful in this world, this lifetime.
Even if some of the things you say don’t make sense to me now, I’m sure they will later on in the future ( hopefully ). It’s nice, spending time with you from time to time, be it in person or text message. Steadily, you’ve grown into someone I can look to for advice. I hope such a place never become vacant by you. I may not be the best ’ younger brother ’ but I promise I won’t always live up to my ’ bratty ’ persona.
Hyung, you really are the best, an I won’t say it more than twice a day. So don’t push it.Also, I’m expecting those guitar lessons soon -
Jimin
